Share with DepoView
A videographer shared a digital video transcript (DVT) formatted as a DepoView Volume with her client. The client now wants to view the volume in DepoView itself.
When the videographer shares a DepoView Volume with her client, the client receives an email. The email contains a link to the DepoView Volume. The client can follow the link to view the volume in her browser. From there, she may also download the volume to her computer where she can open it in DepoView.
Tip: View the following articles to learn more about generating DepoView formats from Sync DVT files and sharing those files with others:
The client opens the email sent from the videographer and follows the steps below:
- Click the link in the email.
- Click the Download button in the top right corner of the screen.
The client clicks the link and the DepoView Volume appears in the external DVT viewer.
The client can review the transcript and multimedia synchronization here or continue moving the volume to DepoView.
The client clicks the Download button and the DepoView Volume is downloaded to her computer.
From here, the client can run DepoView on her computer and open the files she just downloaded.
If the videographer shared DepoView for iPad files with her client, the client could follow much of the same process. In addition, the client would save the downloaded files into one of DepoView for iPad's supported storage services (e.g. DropBox) in order to send the files to DepoView for iPad.
