Save a Layout
A paralegal likes the way he set up the explorer, work area, and panel layout in TrialDirector 360 EVIDENCE as he reviewed clips. Now he wants to save that layout so that he can come back and use it later.
The paralegal can save the positioning layout of the different explorers, work areas, and panels in the TrialDirector 360 EVIDENCE Main Menu. He can save several different layouts that fit any specific workflow and load them later as needed.
To save a layout, the paralegal opens a case and follows the steps below:
- Open the Layouts dropdown.
- Click the Save Layout button within the Layouts dropdown.
- Enter a name for the layout or set it as the new Default Layout.
- Click the Save button.
The paralegal clicks the Layouts dropdown in the Main Menu.
The paralegal clicks the Save Layout button.
The Save Layout dialog appears.
The paralegal can enter a name for the new layout to help him remember what it is for.
He may also set the layout as the default layout using the checkbox. If this option is selected, the layout will appear as the "Default Layout" option in the Layouts dropdown.
The paralegal clicks the Save button. The layout is saved and is added to the Layouts dropdown in the Main Menu.
