Open an Explorer

A paralegal closed the Playlist Explorer to make more room in his layout. Now he wants to view the Playlist Explorer so that he can manage the clips associated with each playlist in his case.

The paralegal can open an explorer using the dropdown in the TrialDirector 360 EVIDENCE Main Menu.

To open an explorer, the paralegal opens the case he wants work in and follows the steps below:

  1. Click the Explorers dropdown in the Main Menu ribbon bar above an open case.

    2. The paralegal clicks the Explorers dropdown. A list of the available Explorers appears.

    The green checkmarks indicate explorers that are already open in the layout.

  2. Select an explorer to open it.

    3. The paralegal selects the Playlist Explorer. The explorer then appears in its default position in the case layout.

Note: If the explorer that the paralegal wants to view is already present in the layout, after selecting the explorer from the Explorers dropdown in the Main Menu, the explorer is brought forward into view and selected for use.
