Open Entry Location in Transcript

A paralegal wants to open a transcript directly to the page and line reference of a designation within the transcript so that he doesn't have to scroll through all the pages to find it.

The paralegal can open the transcript directly to the Page:Line reference of the designation, or any other transcript entry, using the Open Location in Transcript button.

To open directly to the Page:Line reference of an entry in a transcript, the paralegal uses the following steps:

  1. Open the Transcripts Explorer.
  2. By default, the Transcripts Explorer tab is found on the left of the window.

The transcripts added to the case appear in a tree view in the explorer.

  3. Expand the Transcript Explorer items to a Page:Line reference entry.
  4. The paralegal expands the transcript items to the designation Page:Line reference he wants to open.

  5. Right click on the Page:Line reference.
  6. The paralegal right clicks on the Page:Line reference of the Designation.

    The right-click context menu appears.

  7. Click the Open Location in Transcript button.
  8. The paralegal clicks the Open Location in Transcript button.

If the corresponding transcript is not already open, the transcript opens and scrolls to the Page:Line reference selected.
