Perform a Quality Check

A videographer created a DVT and filled in some of the missing timecodes in Quality Control. Now she would like to see her progress.

The videographer can perform a Quality Check on a transcript to view her progress as she resolves potential errors. The Quality Check will parse through each line in the transcript and update reported potential errors according to any of her changes. The videographer can run a Quality Check while in Review mode in the Transcripts tab or from the Quality Control tab.

To perform a Quality Check in the Quality Control tab, the videographer uses the following steps:

  1. Open a DVT.
  2. The videographer first opens a DVT.

  3. Click the Quality Check button.
  4. The videographer can find the button in the ribbon bar of the Transcripts tab and the Quality Control tab.

She clicks the Quality Check button.

Running a Quality Check replaces the results from the initial synchronization when the videographer created the DVT and any other previous Quality Checks. In other words it updates the results with the videographer's progress. The videographer confirms the Quality Check, and SYNC replaces the results.
