Import Issue Types
A paralegal wants to add several issue types that he defined previously on his own in bulk.
The paralegal can import issue type information from the Issues tab of an open case.
To import issue type information, the paralegal selects the Issues tab from the open case and follows the steps below:
- Click the Import button.
- Navigate to the issue type import file.
- Select the file.
- One parent issue type
- One parent issue type with sub-issue types (Note the sub-issue types contain a fifth detail definition, the name of the parent issue type)
- Several parent issue types, some with sub-issue types (Note the sub-issue types contain a fifth detail definition, the name of the parent issue type)
- Click Open.
The paralegal clicks the Import button.
The File Explorer appears.
The paralegal navigates through and finds the file location on his machine.
The paralegal selects the comma delimited file with the issue type definitions he wants to import.

With the file selected, the paralegal clicks the Open button in the File Explorer. The issue types are added to the case and appear in the Issues table.
Note: If any of the imported issue types contain duplicate details with any of the existing issue types in the case, the duplicate imported issue type will not be added to the case.
