Replace a File

A videographer accidentally selected the wrong multimedia file when she created a DVT. She wants to insert the new file without having to remove the old file and add the correct one separately.

The videographer can replace files using the File Manager in Job History.

The videographer uses the following steps to replace a file:

1. Select a Job.



The associated transcript and multimedia files appear in the Job Details view.

2. Click the Manage button.

The File Manager appears.



3. Click the Replace button.



The File Explorer appears.

4. Navigate to the new file's location.
5. Select the file and click Open.

The videographer selects the file and clicks Open. The new file replaces the old one she selected.

With the new file in place, the multimedia and transcript of the job may be re-synchronized to account for the change.

6. Click Save.
