Reorder Media Files

A videographer is working with several deposition video files that correspond with the transcript, but some of the video files are not in chronological order.

The videographer uses the following steps to place the media in the correct chronological order:

  1. Open a DVT.

    2. The transcript and video appear in the view.

  2. Select the Multimedia tab in the Tools panel.

    3. The multimedia associated with the transcript appears within the panel in a list.

  3. Select a multimedia file to be repositioned.

    4. The videographer selects and highlights the video file that is out of order.

  4. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons on the keyboard to place the file in the correct position.

    5. The video file the videographer selected is supposed to be the first video in the list. She presses the Up arrow and the file moves up one slot, making it the first of the three video files in the list.

    SYNC automatically saves the change.

    Note: The Move Up and Move Down buttons can also be found in the right-click context menu in the Multimedia tab in the Tools panel.
