Edit a Transcript

A videographer notices a spelling error in a transcript she is working on in the DVT viewer.

The Edit Transcript mode allows the videographer to make any corrections or other changes to the text within the transcript one line at a time.

With a DVT open in the viewer, the videographer follows the steps below to edit the transcript:

  1. Click Edit Transcript.

    2. The videographer finds the Edit Transcript button in the Transcripts view.

  2. Click on a line in the transcript.

    3. The videographer clicks on the line in the transcript with the spelling error. A dialog appears with the contents of the line in a text field.

  3. Make any changes and click Save.

    4. The changes the videographer makes to the transcript are saved to a default subfolder.

  4. Click Edit Transcript again to exit Edit Mode.
